Since the last book and a movie night was so fun I decided we need to have another one this Fall! Many people have showed interest in reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and it is definately on my least to read as well. Please put in your RSVP what you will be bringing to share with the group such as wine, appetizer, dessert, etc... This meetup will be at a private home, so PLEASE RESPECT this and RSVP as appropriate. Also, you have to have read the book or given it a REALLY good chance! (I only made it 1/2 way in The Other Boleyn Girl...) The Boston Beer Company, brewers of Samuel Adams Beer, will be teaming up with Banks Catering to help the Friends of the Asa Waters Mansion generate funds to restore and raise the Mansion's widows walk. On Saturday, October 23, guests (21 years of age and older) will be treated to a multi-course dinner accompanied by samplings of specially chosen Samuel Adams beers to complement each course. Executive Chef Michael Banks, of Banks Catering in Grafton, will be working with the brewers at Samuel Adams to select the cuisine and beer pairings. Tickets for this event are limited and must be purchased in advance. Admission is $55 per guest, which includes the multi-course dinner, along with beer pairings and a keepsake Samuel Adams Boston Lager Pint Glass made possible through the generosity of The Boston Beer Company. A cash bar will be available for those wishing to purchase additional beverages. The Mansion will open at 6:30 p.m., dinner begins at 7:00.
